As your loved one progresses through this journey, remember—each day is new, and each moment is new. What worked yesterday may not work today, and that’s okay.
Hold tightly to the memories you’ve shared, but also make space to create new ones with the person your loved one is becoming. There is still beauty here… it just looks different.
Take the pictures. Capture the moments, even the small ones.
Try not to correct them or bring them back to your reality—instead, gently step into theirs. Meet them where they are. You may find yourself in a world that feels like make-believe, but to them, it is very real.
Rather than asking questions that may cause confusion or frustration, lean into connection. Talk about the past. Share photos. Rekindle feelings, not facts.
This journey asks you to shift from remembering for them… to simply being with them.
And in that space—there is still love, still connection, still meaning. ❤️
